Important Guidelines for Gift Shipments

Please check regulations in the destination country for gift shipments, as they may allow duty or tax exemptions below a certain value and must be sent between individuals without company involvement for eligibility.

 

Courier Shipments

 

Items like glassware, perishables, electronics, and valuables are transported under the sender's risk with iShip.io, meaning no liability for damage or loss is assumed. Review and adhere to our packaging guidelines for safe shipment.

Shipment Packaging Guidelines

Ensure your items are securely packed, with internal cushioning to prevent movement. Shipments must withstand normal handling pressures; non-compliant packages are shipped at your risk.

Prohibited Shipments for iShip.io

​

iShip.io prohibits the shipment of items like currency, firearms, alcohol, certain tobacco products, prescription drugs without proper authorization, and materials classified as hazardous or illegal. This includes, but is not limited to, live animals (with specific exceptions), human remains, lottery tickets, waste, and anything that contravenes applicable laws or could harm individuals or property.

Compliance, Inspection, and Liability

 

You affirm that your shipments adhere to all legal and regulatory standards and accept responsibility for non-compliance. iShip.io reserves the right to inspect parcels and collaborate with legal authorities to ensure compliance. Non-compliant items may be confiscated, disposed of, or returned. Despite any request to the contrary, iShip.io may open and inspect packages to verify adherence to our TOS and legal obligations. You are responsible for ensuring your shipment meets all regulations and iShip.io's standards, acknowledging that non-compliance could result in damage or legal action for which iShip.io assumes no liability.

Payment Terms

When using paid aspects of iShip.io services, you must provide valid payment details, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date. All service charges and additional fees will be billed to your designated payment method. By using iShip.io, you consent to these charges and agree to update payment information as necessary. Disputes over charges must be communicated within sixty days. Please note, international transactions may incur additional bank or credit card fees, separate from iShip.io's charges, influenced by your bank's policies and exchange rates.

Termination Policy

You can terminate your iShip.io account anytime by emailing a request to operations@iShip.io. iShip.io reserves the right to end services or this agreement, typically with 30 days notice, or immediately for severe violations. If the service ends without your fault, and you've paid any fees, we'll refund the unused portion. Data may be retained or deleted post-termination at iShip.io's discretion. Specific terms will survive account termination.
